The Sakha (Yakutia) Republic Higher School of Music was founded in 1993. The Higher School of Music offers a multi-level professional music education system, including primary education, secondary vocational education («Instrumental Music», classified by instrument) and higher education (bachelor’s degree - «Musicology and Applied Music Arts», specialist degree - «Concert Arts» (classified by instrument), «Music-theater Arts»). In the course of its development, the Higher School of Music has become one of the leading institutions of higher learning in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the Far Eastern Federal District in the training of professional talents in the cultural and artistic sectors.
The Conservatory of Music has its own concert hall equipped with Steinway, Kawi and Yamaha pianos.
Accommodation: Trainees and students live in two-story villas and dormitories equipped with all necessary facilities to ensure comfortable study, life and entertainment. The campus area is closed and a pass is required to enter and exit. Students can use study rooms, reading rooms, canteens, various household appliances, musical instrument storage cabinets and other facilities. All students from other places will be provided with accommodation after admission and will be temporarily registered according to the study period.
Location: The Higher School of Music is located in the city of Yakutsk, the capital of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), one of the oldest cities in Siberia, and today the largest economic, cultural, educational and scientific research center in the Northeast of Russia. The Higher School of Music of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is located in a complex of buildings in an independent village - a unique complex built in a picturesque forest area, 16 kilometers from Yakutsk. The campus of the Higher School of Music of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) consists of well-equipped cottages, including all the necessary infrastructure - educational buildings, administrative buildings, first aid station, library, restaurant, etc.
