About the School
The Sakha (Yakutia) Republican Higher Music School is an educational institution that trains music performing artists and professionals in the field of musical arts. The school offers three levels of education: elementary, intermediate and advanced, using a practice-oriented teaching method, combining modern educational and information technologies, and actively introducing personalized learning plans and original teaching projects. During the study period, the Higher Music School provides a good platform for interaction between students and employers, aiming to help future musicians adapt to the professional environment, successfully develop their careers, and improve their performance skills.The mission of the Sakha (Yakutia) Republican Higher Music School is to promote the development of musical art by training highly qualified music professionals with creativity and responsibility, enhancing intellectual potential and contributing to the comprehensive development of society through spiritual and moral education.
At the Higher Conservatory of Music there are symphony orchestras, chamber orchestras and wind orchestras. For students of string instruments, the school trains a violinist and a cellist. Students of the wind and percussion department play in the orchestra and play in an orchestral quintet. Artists of all these groups are students of the Higher Conservatory of Music.
Students and students of the Sakha (Yakutia) Republican Higher Music School have won many awards and honors at international, national and regional competitions. Many graduates have received prestigious awards and scholarships in all federal districts of the Russian Federation and in 28 countries around the world, including at the UNESCO Halls in Paris and Strasbourg, Carnegie Hall in New York, Italy, France, Austria, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, Israel, Portugal, China, South Korea, etc. Graduates have found jobs in various organizations and art groups in Yakutia, Russia and abroad.
